Why should one always do Namaskar to elders?

Meaning: When an elderly person arrives, the vital energy of the young person starts rising and when he gets up and does Namaskar, it returns to normal. – Manusmruti 2.120; Mahabharat, Udhyog, Chapter (Section) 38.1, Sr. no. 104, 64-65
Explanation : ‘As the sojourn of the elderly person is gradually towards the southern direction, that is, towards the region of Lord Yama (towards death), his body starts emitting raja and tama frequencies on a high scale. When such an elderly person comes in the vicinity of any younger individual, these frequencies start affecting the younger person. A subtle magnetic field is created between the two. Consequently, the vital energy of the younger person is pulled upward. This way the younger person can suffer due to sudden momentum to his vital energy. When this younger person does Namaskar to the elderly person, some amount of the Central channel of his Kundalini system is activated and the sattva component in it starts increasing. Consequently the raja and tama components in him are influenced by the sattva component and the vital energy comes back to normal state. Hence on arrival of an elderly person, it is customary for the younger individuals to do Namaskar to them.’

When travelling, prior to the commencement of a journey and upon returning, why should one do Namaskar to elders in the family?

‘Namaskar to the elders in the family is one way of surrendering to the God principle in them. When an embodied soul bows in Namaskar to an elder by surrendering to the God principle in him, at that time a sense of compassion is created in his body. This compassion percolates right upto his subtle body. At that time, energy of his mind is activated and in turn activates the five vital energies, which are located at the seat of the Manipur chakra (situated in the Naval region). Transmission of these five vital energies all over the body then awakens the soul energy. With the strength of the soul energy, the Central channel gets activated and converts the expressed energy of spiritual emotion to the unexpressed energy of spiritual emotion. With the help of this unexpressed energy of spiritual emotion, the embodied soul, through the medium of elders, gains the required Deity’s principle from the Universe. For this purpose, while leaving the house on a journey, the embodied soul should do Namaskar to elders and with the strength of sattva frequencies has to protect himself from distressing frequencies in the atmosphere. Similarly, returning from a journey, one should immediately do Namaskar to elders and awaken the God principle in them, which would disintegrate the raja-tama particles from the air around him, which might have been brought along.

Pervez Musharraf : we would have conquered 300 square miles of India

Lahore (Pakistan) : Former president of Pakistan, General (retd) Pervez Musharraf has responded to allegations made recently by Lt. Gen. (retd) Shahid Aziz that as army chief he was guilty of putting a “tight lid” on the Kargil war.

“Telling everyone about it was not necessary at all,” said Musharraf in an interview with Express News show Kal Tak that was aired Wednesday night. He added that he felt Aziz had an imbalanced personality and has resorted to character assassination by making these accusations.

“We lost the Kargil war, which was a big success militarily, because of Nawaz Sharif,” said Musharraf. “If he had not visited the US, we would have conquered 300 square miles of India.”

The former president said that the Kargil operation was not a major operation but a localized one. “Kargil was just one of many sectors all under a major general stationed in Gilgit, in charge of the area. Exchange of fire was routine there,” he explained.

He said that he would not go so far as to accuse Nawaz Sharif of betrayal, but his decision to withdraw from Kargil was a mistake. “Nawaz lost a political front which we had won militarily,” he added.

During the Kargil conflict of 1999, Aziz ran the Inter-Services Intelligence analysis wing.

“The prime consideration of such actions is security and secrecy, so the army leadership decides who is to be informed and when. As the operation progressed and the proper time arrived, a briefing of the corps commanders was also held,” he added.

“I am really astonished that Lt Gen Shahid Aziz is writing about this 10 years later,” said Musharraf when asked to comment on the accusation that he did not inform other generals.

He said that blaming the nation at this juncture of time, as Lt Gen (retd) Shahid has done, seems to be part of a conspiracy.

“It was a tactical action that had a strategic importance in which no more than a few hundred persons were involved, but which engaged thousands on the Indian side and was of tremendous importance.”

Musharraf justified Pakistani casualties in the conflict, saying that Pakistan lost only 270 men against India’s 1,600 soldiers.

India has reacted badly to the comments, asking Pakistan whether it wants to maintain a friendship with India given Aziz’s revelations that army regulars took part in the 1999 conflict

Q. Why should the eyes be closed while doing Namaskar?

A. ‘Joining hands while bowing the head amounts to saluting God or the divinity in the person in front. The eyes are closed while doing Namaskar to God or any respected person, to enable one to have the vision of God within us.’

Q. Why should the footwear be taken off while doing Namaskar?

A. While sitting, partaking meals, sleeping, wishing and doing Namaskar to Gurus and other elderly people, footwear should not be worn. – Gautamsmruti 9.
1. Footwear increases the raja-tama components in a person.
2. Paying obeisance (Namaskar) with high raja-tama components will not help in activating the Kundalini (centre in the spiritual energy system).
3. The ability to absorb the sattva component too is reduced, due to an increase in the raja-tama components, leading to little benefit from a Namaskar.
4. Doing Namaskar to a Deity, with footwear on, may also invite the wrath of the Deity.’

Q. Why is it not advisable to hold any object while doing Namaskar?

A.1. While doing Namaskar if an object is held in the hands, usually the fingers and their tips are in a curled position and not straight. As a result, the sattva component received is unable to enter the tips of the fingers.
2. The sattva component emitted towards the seeker, strikes the object held and bounces back. Also, at times, instead of the person absorbing the sattva component, the object may absorb it.
3. If the object in the hand is raja or tama predominant, and if it is touched to the forehead or chest while doing Namaskar, then the raja-tama components from it mayenter the body of the one who is doing Namaskar.

Q. While doing Namaskar, why are men not supposed to cover their head, whereas women are advised to cover their head?

A. One should not do Namaskar with footwear on, covering the head or holding any objects. (But women should cover their head with their saris and only then do Namaskar) – Apastamb Dharmasutra 1.4.14.19
While doing Namaskar the Kundalini gets activated at the chakra which is touched by the folded hands. This leads to the absorption of the Sattva component in greater proportion in the body. Sometimes due to the activation of the Kundalini, Sattva component starts entering the body through the head. But at times the distressing energies try to take advantage of this and mix black energy with the Sattva component. The potential to activate the Kundalini is higher in men as compared to women. Hence they are hardly affected by this negative energy. Contrary to this, as women are more vulnerable, they get affected by distressing energies to a greater extent and thus they can experience distress. That is why, when doing Namaskar, women are advised to cover their head with the ends of their sari. This creates a barrier between the head and the distressing energies and prevents themfrom penetrating the body of the woman. However, to some extent this also blocks benevolent frequencies from entering the women. (Benevolent frequencies are subtler than negative frequencies; hence they enter a woman to some extent even though the sari covers her head.) However, the proper posture of Namaskar gives maximum Sattva component to an individual and hence women too get required benefits. This shows how God takes care of every devotee. Doing Namaskar without these restrictions is equally effective if the devotee does it with spiritual emotion.

How the Vatican built a secret property empire using Mussolini’s millions

Few passing London tourists would ever guess that the premises of Bulgari, the upmarket jewellers in New Bond Street, had anything to do with the pope. Nor indeed the nearby headquarters of the wealthy investment bank Altium Capital, on the corner of St James’s Square and Pall Mall.

But these office blocks in one of London’s most expensive districts are part of a surprising secret commercial property empire owned by the Vatican.

Behind a disguised offshore company structure, the church’s international portfolio has been built up over the years, using cash originally handed over by Mussolini in return for papal recognition of the Italian fascist regime in 1929.

Since then the international value of Mussolini’s nest-egg has mounted until it now exceeds £500m. In 2006, at the height of the recent property bubble, the Vatican spent £15m of those funds to buy 30 St James’s Square. Other UK properties are at 168 New Bond Street and in the city of Coventry. It also owns blocks of flats in Paris and Switzerland.

The surprising aspect for some will be the lengths to which the Vatican has gone to preserve secrecy about the Mussolini millions. The St James’s Square office block was bought by a company called British Grolux Investments Ltd, which also holds the other UK properties. Published registers at Companies House do not disclose the company’s true ownership, nor make any mention of the Vatican.

Instead, they list two nominee shareholders, both prominent Catholic bankers: John Varley, recently chief executive of Barclays Bank, and Robin Herbert, formerly of the Leopold Joseph merchant bank. Letters were sent from the Guardian to each of them asking whom they act for. They went unanswered. British company law allows the true beneficial ownership of companies to be concealed behind nominees in this way.

The company secretary, John Jenkins, a Reading accountant, was equally uninformative. He told us the firm was owned by a trust but refused to identify it on grounds of confidentiality. He told us after taking instructions: “I confirm that I am not authorised by my client to provide any information.”

Research in old archives, however, reveals more of the truth. Companies House files disclose that British Grolux Investments inherited its entire property portfolio after a reorganisation in 1999 from two predecessor companies called British Grolux Ltd and Cheylesmore Estates. The shares of those firms were in turn held by a company based at the address of the JP Morgan bank in New York. Ultimate control is recorded as being exercised by a Swiss company, Profima SA.

British wartime records from the National Archives in Kew complete the picture. They confirm Profima SA as the Vatican’s own holding company, accused at the time of “engaging in activities contrary to Allied interests”. Files from officials at Britain’s Ministry of Economic Warfare at the end of the war criticised the pope’s financier, Bernardino Nogara, who controlled the investment of more than £50m cash from the Mussolini windfall.

Nogara’s “shady activities” were detailed in intercepted 1945 cable traffic from the Vatican to a contact in Geneva, according to the British, who discussed whether to blacklist Profima as a result. “Nogara, a Roman lawyer, is the Vatican financial agent and Profima SA in Lausanne is the Swiss holding company for certain Vatican interests.” They believed Nogara was trying to transfer shares of two Vatican-owned French property firms to the Swiss company, to prevent the French government blacklisting them as enemy assets.

Earlier in the war, in 1943, the British accused Nogara of similar “dirty work”, by shifting Italian bank shares into Profima’s hands in order to “whitewash” them and present the bank as being controlled by Swiss neutrals. This was described as “manipulation” of Vatican finances to serve “extraneous political ends”.

The Mussolini money was dramatically important to the Vatican’s finances. John Pollard, a Cambridge historian, says in Money and the Rise of the Modern Papacy: “The papacy was now financially secure. It would never be poor again.”

From the outset, Nogara was innovative in investing the cash. In 1931 records show he founded an offshore company in Luxembourg to hold the continental European property assets he was buying. It was called Groupement Financier Luxembourgeois, hence Grolux. Luxembourg was one of the first countries to set up tax-haven company structures in 1929. The UK end, called British Grolux, was incorporated the following year.

When war broke out, with the prospect of a German invasion, the Luxembourg operation and ostensible control of the British Grolux operation were moved to the US and to neutral Switzerland.

The Mussolini investments in Britain are currently controlled, along with its other European holdings and a currency trading arm, by a papal official in Rome, Paolo Mennini, who is in effect the pope’s merchant banker. Mennini heads a special unit inside the Vatican called the extraordinary division of APSA – Amministrazione del Patrimonio della Sede Apostolica – which handles the so-called “patrimony of the Holy See”.

According to a report last year from the Council of Europe, which surveyed the Vatican’s financial controls, the assets of Mennini’s special unit now exceed €680m (£570m).

While secrecy about the Fascist origins of the papacy’s wealth might have been understandable in wartime, what is less clear is why the Vatican subsequently continued to maintain secrecy about its holdings in Britain, even after its financial structure was reorganised in 1999.

The Guardian asked the Vatican’s representative in London, the papal nuncio, archbishop Antonio Mennini, why the papacy continued with such secrecy over the identity of its property investments in London. We also asked what the pope spent the income on. True to its tradition of silence on the subject, the Roman Catholic church’s spokesman said that the nuncio had no comment.

Why ‘Namaskar’ and not a ‘hand shake’?

While visiting places of worship and viewing the Deities or after meeting a elderly or a respected person our hands are automatically joined together in Namaskar. Namaskar is a sattva predominant impression on the Hindu mind, an action that maintains the rich heritage of Hindu culture. Namaskar is a simple and beautiful act of expression of divine qualities like devotion, love, respect and humility that endows one with Divine energy.
Nowadays, perhaps due to ignorance about the Science of Spirituality or the increasing influence of the western culture, many people shake hands.

Why is it not appropriate to shake hands?

Avoid a Hand Shake: It tranfers undesirable raja-tama components!

In short, in a handshake, the raja-tama components in one person will get transferred to the other person, thereby lowering his sattvikta (Purity levels). While practicing Spirituality, our objective is to perform acts which increase our sattvikta.
If at all they do Namaskar by joining their palms, it is done just as a formality. As the act is not based on faith, the benefit derived from it is minimal. Along with faith it is essential that every religious act be correctly performed according to the Science of Spirituality, so that it gives complete benefit. In this series, as with the others,  along with information on various methods of doing Namaskar, the Science in them is also explained. Understanding the Science will help in strengthening faith in the act. Such an act correctly performed with faith, will yield corresponding benefits.

Q. How does one do Namaskar to an individual of the same age group?

A. When meeting someone of the same age-group do Namaskar by joining the fingers and placing tips of the thumbs on the Anahat chakra (at the centre of the chest). This type of Namaskar increases the spiritual emotion of humility in the embodied soul. Sattva frequencies from the universe are attracted by the fingers (which act as an antenna) and are then transmitted to the entire body through the thumbs which have awakened the Anahat chakra. This activates the soul energy of the embodied soul. In addition, by doing Namaskar in this manner to each other, frequencies of blessings are also transmitted.

No sign of shift in Pak strategic policies : US scholar

There is no indication of any fundamental shift in strategic policies of Pakistan, a noted US scholar has said, noting that Islamabad’s  recent effort to improve ties with India appears to be driven by short term goals.

“Change in Pakistan’s relations with India and Afghanistan and in its sponsorship of terrorism for political purposes is real but does not yet indicate a fundamental shift in strategic thinking,” Frederic Grare, senior associate and director of Carnegie’s South Asia Program, said in his latest article on Wednesday.

“The shift thus far has been prompted by short-term considerations and reflects Pakistan’s weakness and isolation.

However, if the tentative changes lead to improvement in the country’s economy and security, a meaningful shift in Pakistan’s strategic character could take hold,” he said.

Referring to the recent clashes between Pakistani and Indian forces in Kashmir, he said this indicate that tensions exist within the Pakistani security establishment about Islamabad’s India policy.

“While occasional incidents are perhaps inevitable in the tense Kashmir environment, the alleged mutilation of the bodies of Indian soldiers could be interpreted as a provocation and an indication that the current course of action remains problematic in some quarters,” he said.

“Moreover, there is no visible sign that the military intends to dismantle militant organisations with a record of attacking India in Kashmir and elsewhere,” Grare wrote.

“So long as groups like the Lashkar-e-Tayiba  persist, hostilities could resume, with or without the consent of the military. However, the fact that no major terrorist attack originating within Pakistan has taken place since the 2008 Mumbai  attacks may indicate that Pakistan can control some of its most dangerous jihadi organisations, even if that control is not absolute,” he added.

Arguing that Pakistan’s visible rapprochement with India is fragile, he said given the convergence of short- and long-term interests within Pakistan, the normalisation could be expected to last.

“Should it endure, it would also enlarge the political space open to the civilian government, which has always been in favour of better economic relations with India and whose economic interests partly coincide (for once) with those of the military,” he said.

“And if it lasts long enough, a warmer India-Pakistan dynamic could even alter the security establishment’s perception of India. This may not be sufficient to change Pakistan’s India-centric strategic calculations, but it could create an intermediary situation that would eventually permit a more comprehensive shift. That remains, however, speculative at this stage,” Grare added.

Definition of Armageddon: A subtle battle of catastrophic proportions between good and evil at the end of an era.

Abstract:

Unknown to most of us, the world is in the midst of a subtle battle of good versus evil also known as Armageddon. It is being fought mostly in the subtle dimension in all the regions of the Universe including Earth. The fraction of this battle that will play out in the physical plane will have catastrophic consequences on Earth. 1. Introduction to the battle of Armageddon

The world has been experiencing an increasing trend of natural disasters, terrorist activities, war and political upheavals over the recent past. There is no respite to this trend or any signs of slowing down. Quite a number of us may feel a sense of helplessness as we see our world lurch forward uncontrollably towards even tougher times. A number of seers such as Nostradamus, Edgar Cayce etc. have predicted turbulent and distressing times of cataclysmic proportions. There has also been much talk about a battle between the forces of good and evil that will play out around the times we live in.

We conducted spiritual research to explore the events in the subtle dimension behind these alarming trends and what lies ahead for us.
The purpose of this article is to provide information uncovered through spiritual research about:

• The spiritual forces at work that are orchestrating worldwide events and the times to come.
• Measures that can be taken by humanity to minimise the impact of these events.

To some of us due to lack of any understanding about the spiritual realm, this article may seem fictional or almost like a fairy-tale. 2. What is a subtle battle?

Forces of good and evil have existed since the beginning of the Universe. These forces exist mainly in the subtle regions of the Universe and influence the positive and negative forces on Earth almost completely. From time to time the subtle forces of evil gain enough spiritual energy to attempt to establish a demonic kingdom in the Universe. In current times, the balance of power between the forces of good and evil is 70% and 30% respectively. However the forces of evil in the Universe have once again derived enough spiritual energy to attempt to establish a demonic kingdom. The fight that ensues is known as a subtle battle or an Armageddon and its effects are being felt through all the regions of the Universe. This battle began to erupt in the subtle in 1993 and a fraction of the battle will increasingly play out on the Earth plane with catastrophic consequences for humanity.
The seriousness of this subtle battle (Armageddon) and the consequences for humanity will be of unprecedented proportions. It is for this reason, we have named this article Armageddon, which means a conflict of catastrophic proportions between good and evil. The result of the battle will be a defeat of the negative forces and an establishment of a era of rekindling Spirituality in mankind in the Universe and on Earth. The era of rekindling Spirituality in mankind on Earth will last for about a thousand years. 3. Principle behind the subtle battle of Armageddon

Most of us are unaware of the fact that many of the events on Earth, which affect us at an individual or collective level, have their root cause in the spiritual realm. Let us take the example of the recent rise in natural disasters.
The primary factor contributing to the increasing trend of natural disasters is spiritual in nature. Physical factors such as greenhouse gases contribute to only 30% of the problem. In other words, the governments of the world and non-government organisations (NGOs) policing the international community’s adherence to the Kyoto protocol, though highly commendable, would at best address only a fraction of the problem. Most attempts to fix problems only at a physical and mental level without taking into account the spiritual realm will be clumsy and inefficient.
The single most important spiritual factor contributing to the rise of natural disasters, terrorism and political upheaval is a rise in the raja and tama subtle basic components. This increase is primarily due to:

• A step up in activity by ghosts (demons, devils, negative energies, etc.) in the current times
• Society that is very materialistic with hardly any spiritual practice.

The entire world is like a puppet in the hands of positive and negative forces from the subtle realm. Good people act as per the will of God, whereas the evil people are puppets in the hands of ghosts (demons, devils, negative energies, etc.). The good people on Earth will not be able to live in peace unless the ghosts are overpowered. People with lower spiritual energy who are not necessarily good or bad are easily affected by ghosts and controlled by them. As a result, they too are under the control of ghosts and contribute to the raja and tama. In any case, they get caught in the crossfire between the good and forces of evil .
Another major cause for the rise in raja and tama is the state of society with regards to Righteousness. According to an evolved Saint Adi Shankaracharya from India (8th – 9th century AD), Righteousness (Dharma) is that which accomplishes three tasks:

1. Keeping the social system in an excellent condition
2. Bringing about the worldly progress of every living being
3. Causing progress in the spiritual realm as well

Spiritual progress is said to occur only when spiritual practice happens in accordance with the six basic principles of spiritual practice. More often than not societies of the world have failed in meeting the three conditions. Negative elements in society significantly increase the rot eating away into the fabric of society.

4. The severity of the battle of Armageddon 

Unknown to most people, the Universe is in the midst of a subtle battle of epic proportions. Most of this Armageddon is and will be fought in the subtle realms. The battle in the physical realm i.e. on Earth is also mostly in the subtle dimension. Hence awareness about its occurrence is limited only to those who are highly spiritually evolved people on Earth.
Only a fraction of Armageddon will be experienced on Earth. But this fraction itself will be catastrophic and the cause of mass destruction. We will physically witness this fraction of Armageddon in the form of the unleashing of forces of nature and the World War 3 where in weapons of mass destruction will be used. The rise in natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes and volcanoes will be primarily due to the rise in raja and tama fuelled by unrighteousness on Earth. The people who precipitate the World War 3 will be under the control of ghosts (demons, devils, negative energies, etc.).

The above graph gives us an understanding of the scale of the battle. If we consider the severity of World War 1(i.e. the combined physical and subtle elements involved) to be 1, then the severity of the present battle in its infancy (i.e. in the year 1993) itself was 5. All the major disasters and terrorist activities of the past few years are tell-tale signs directly related to the subtle battle. Ghosts (demons, devils, negative energies, etc.) possess individuals that have a mentality to harm society and carry out terrorist activities through them on mankind. The fact that the severity of the battle will relentlessly increase up to 44 units in 2017 gives us an indication of the severity of the battle. It will then rapidly come down to 1 in 2025.

5. Who are the forces of good fighting this battle of Armageddon?

1993: In the ensuing battle of Armageddon, the forces of good are being led by the Paraatpar Guru ( evolved spiritual guide of above 90% spiritual level) living on the Earth plane. At the start of the battle in 1993, only the Paraatpar Guru and a few seekers were fighting the battle.
Their participation is entirely at the subtle level, in that all the participants just act out automatically as per God’s wishes without being aware that their acts are a part of this battle of Armageddon. Thus all the participants are not conscious at the physical level of their involvement in the battle. The various acts in the course of the battle happen through them automatically as per God’s wish mostly at the subtle level and to some extent in the tangible dimension like acts for the spread of Spirituality.
2003: By 2003 the number of seekers of God accompanying the spiritually evolved guide in the fight rose to 35. Their role was mostly one of implementing God’s wishes in the gross tangible dimension. The forces of good progressively increase in quantity and quality as the subtle battle intensifies. The battle in the subtle is fought purely with spiritual power and has no physical element to it.
2004: From 2004 onwards the severity of the forces of evil and consequently of Armageddon stepped up considerably. Hence positive forces from the subtle region of Heaven joined the battle. They helped in various forms beginning from yellow divine particles and progressing to particles of divine consciousness, frequencies of light and frequencies of colour of deities to counter the negative forces. This progressive change in form of the positive energies basically signifies that the forces from Heaven joining the battle are becoming more and more subtle and hence more powerful.
2008: From 2008 as the severity of Armageddon rises further, the forces from Heaven will prove to be insufficient and hence their participation will cease.
2009 – 2013: In 2009, two spiritually evolved beings from the subtle region of Mahaloka (a higher region in the Universe) will also join the battle. By then approximately 400 seekers of God would be fighting alongside the Paraatpar Guru. In 2010, a third evolved being from Mahaloka will join the battle. The participation of the evolved beings will be in the form of divine particles progressing to subtle frequencies, subtle rays, divine frequencies and brilliant subtle constellations in 2013, i.e. the Divine help will be progressively more subtle and powerful.
2014 – 2018: As the subtle battle intensifies to 38 units in 2014, seekers subtly fighting in Armageddon will not be able to participate any longer as it would be beyond their spiritual capacity. They would not be able to receive and tolerate the immense spiritual energy supplied by God in order to meet the need of that level of battle.
In 2014, two more divine beings from the next higher region i.e. Janaloka (a higher region in the Universe) will join the subtle battle. Their participation will be in the form of divine particles progressing to subtle frequencies, subtle flames, auras of light to frequencies of light by 2018.
2019: Over the next few years as Armageddon reaches its zenith in 2019 up to 25 divine beings from up to the region of Tapaloka (a higher region in the Universe) will join the battle against forces of evil from the 7th region of Hell. After that the number will gradually reduce because at this stage many Saints on Earth itself will have evolved.
Despite the reduction in the severity of the battle from 44 in 2017 to 30 in 2019, the number of divine beings participating in the battle will be 25 in 2019 compared to just 10 in 2017. This is because in 2019 in addition to the destructive work against the negative evil forces, positive work for the establishment of era of rekindling Spirituality in mankind also needs to be undertaken. For the same reason following this period the particles from Satyaloka (a higher region in the Universe) will start appearing.
2021: In 2021, the establishment of the era of rekindling Spirituality in mankind will begin. In 2023, there will be arrival of particles from Satyaloka, the subtlest and purest of the 14 main subtle regions.
2024: From 2024 onwards participation from the subtle positive regions will stop as it will no longer be required.

6. The consequences of the battle of Armageddon

The battle of Armageddon being waged is mostly in the subtle. However it is currently adversely affecting the world albeit mostly at an intangible level. The consequences of the subtle war are mainly in the form of seeds sown for further rapid and progressive deterioration of the world at various levels. This works in two ways:

• It decreases the overall sattvikta in the world.
• It enhances the hold of the forces of evil on mankind.

The main stages of Armageddon are described below:

Since 1993, ghosts (demons, devils, negative energies, etc.) began to sow the seeds for the degradation of society and acceleration of unrighteousness. In most cases, the world had already set the process of degradation in place. This was due to a rise in man’s materialistic nature and lack of Righteousness. Aided by ghosts, the downslide was accelerated to an unprecedented intensity and speed. Over time these seeds will take root and increase the rot in society. As society becomes more and more unrighteous, they will play right into the hands of ghosts (demons, devils, negative energies, etc.) increasing the raja and tama in the environment. This increase in raja and tama will cause the destabilisation of the world as we know it. It will culminate in natural disasters and the World War 3.
The following are examples of a few mechanisms that have already been set into motion by ghosts (demons, devils, negative energies, etc.). The chart also gives other events that will come to pass in the run up to the establishment of the era of rekindling Spirituality in mankind.

2011	The seed of steps by terrorists under the control of ghosts to destroy spiritual organisations
2014	A high incidence of natural calamities
2015	Havoc by floods and volcanoes
2016	A massive earthquake in Pakistan
2017	Countries in the Middle East razed to the ground in bomb blasts
2018	America, China and Japan hit by war and an unprecedented loss of innumerable lives
2019	Loss of supremacy of politicians and rush of mankind to Saints for their rescue
2020	Decrease in the destructive process and predominance of particles of divine consciousness in the environment
2021	The seed of times conducive and complementary to the establishment of the era of rekindling Spirituality in mankind created
2022	Experience of pleasantness and enthusiasm in the environment
2023	Settling down of the environment
2024	Internal and external settling down of life
2025	The seed of improved spiritual practice and spiritual journey towards God-realisation by seekers. Commencement of the era of rekindling Spirituality in mankind.

• The probability of this catastrophe being avoided is 1%
• The intensity may vary by +/- 10%
• The timing of the event may vary by +/- 10% within the overall 25 year time frame.

 

6.1 World War 3

The Third World War will begin in 2010 and continue for about 9 years till 2019. The wars that will be fought within that period will all be linked. However it may not be readily apparent to the world. Towards the end of this period, weapons of mass destruction will be used. There will be an unprecedented loss of life where approximately 1/3rd of the population will perish and 1/3rd will experience suffering.  Some countries will be affected more than others. Needless to say in a highly interconnected world all countries will be affected. The Third World War will be triggered mainly due to religious fanaticism. Ghosts and negative forces will use this vulnerability in humans to push them over the edge.
In all the three world wars ghosts from progressively higher regions of Hell have been behind humankind wanting to annihilate each other.

• World War 1: Sorcerers from the 2nd region of Hell.
• World War 2: Sorcerers primarily from the 3rd region of Hell took part in the orchestration of the Second World War. Hitler for example throughout his tenure in power was possessed by a sorcerer from the 5th region of Hell. This was also the reason for his dramatic rise to power. Throughout his reign the sorcerer was fully manifest.
• World War 3: Sorcerers from the 4th region of hell will be behind the Third World War that will play out in the physical realm. However in the subtle battle, sorcerers from the 7th region of Hell will take part.

 

6.2 Role of India in World War 3 and the battle of Armageddon

From times immemorial, India has been the spiritual centre of the world. Spiritual research has revealed that in the Armageddon that is unfolding, India will hold centre stage from a spiritual perspective. In the course of the war, negative forces will instigate neighbouring countries to attack India to destabilise the pivotal role that it will play. Approximately 50% of the Indian population will perish as a result.
 

7. Can this catastrophe be avoided?

The catastrophe that is predicted to happen is mainly because the basic subtle raja-tama component in the world has increased to such unprecedented levels, that urgent intervention by God is needed so that the world can be cleansed in order to be able to continue peacefully. It follows that if mankind makes a supreme effort to adapt its lifestyle to a more sattva predominant one, the cleansing process will not be warranted or will happen only to a lesser extent. This can be achieved if majority of mankind mends its ways drastically and reduces its contribution to raja-tama. Or it can be better and earlier done, if people focus on increasing the basic subtle sattva component. Thus the catastrophe can only be avoided if people earnestly start to practice Spirituality. It is imperative that in order to make a difference, their spiritual practice needs to take a more universal form rather than a sectarian form.
Spiritual practice according to the six basic principles of spiritual practice is the most conducive means for growth in the current era. Religions that preach that their way is the only way to God run the risk of violating the six basic principles of spiritual practice.
Depending on our collective spiritual practice and also if some highly evolved Saints intervene, the year and severity of the events can change to some extent. Seekers of God who have through their spiritual practice attained a spiritual level of 60% and above will be protected to varying degrees.

8. Salient features of the era of rekindling Spirituality in mankind

The upside of battle of Armageddon is that humanity will finally experience peace on Earth which will last for almost 1000 years. The battle will be a spiritual cleansing of the world preparing people for a new kind of sattvik world which will radically differ from the old one. In a way, this will be an ushering of a mini Satyayuga within the main era of Kaliyuga. While it will be nothing compared to the sattvikta of the main era of Satyayuga (at the beginning of the Universe), it will be a period of immense spiritual renewal for mankind.
The following are some of the features of the new era that some of us will have the privilege to usher in.

• Spiritual level: After the reduction in the world’s population with Armageddon, the mode spiritual level of the world will rise to 30% compared to its present 20%. A sudden 10% rise in spiritual level across the world’s population is quite staggering and is reflective of the amount of loss of life. Please read our article on spiritual level, which gives the current breakdown of the world population by spiritual level.
• Importance in life: A high degree of importance will be given to spiritual knowledge and spiritual maturity in assessing a person’s ability. The objective of life for people will be skewed towards spiritual growth for the realisation of God.  There will be importance given to spiritual strength rather than physical or intellectual. Accordingly progress will not be measured in terms of riches. The view about wealth will change. It will be viewed as purely a means and not an end in itself.
• Governing system: Democracy will lose its status as the preferred type of governing system. For example in India, a benevolent leadership under the guidance of a Saint will form the government. The modus operandi of leadership will be in line with Righteousness (Dharma). There will be no need for elections. The seer guides of the governing body will transparently point out the leaders. The rest of the world frustrated with its failed experiments at communism, dictatorship and democracy will look to India’s example and try to implement this new type of government to the extent possible for them.
• Closeness: There will be unity amongst all nations. People will feel a genuine closeness with other cultures and nationalities. This will stem from the spiritual maturity of the world’s population. It will be the basis of an innate spiritual understanding of the oneness of all of mankind.
• Education: Education systems will include Spiritual science and codes of Righteousness in their curriculum. Modern science will morph to take into account the spiritual dimension.
• Medical science: Medical sciences will be rewritten. They will now include the spiritual dimension in analysing the root cause of a problem. Ayurveda will become commonly accepted in the western world. The attitude and perspectives of people practicing medicine will change. For example, they will begin to question if a patient is spiritually deserving of an organ transplant or a heart bypass. What will a person do with the reprieve granted to him by a successful surgery? Will he squander the extra years that he has by watching television, aimless chit-chatter, parties etc? Even after getting a reprieve people rarely think of utilising life for realising God (the basic goal of life). In other words they will be considered as increasing the burden on Earth. If one needs an extended lifespan for spiritual practice, God grants it automatically.
• Judicial systems: Judicial systems and processes will change dramatically. Now we have courts of law, later we will have courts of justice. There will be no need for lawyers as judges will be spiritually evolved and will be able to intuitively perceive the truth in the issue at hand. Their highly activated sixth sense (ESP) will allow them to plainly see who is lying and who is telling the truth. In short justice will be served instantly and without spending a cent.
• Art: Artists will not undertake art for the sake of arts, but as spiritual practice to get closer and take others closer to God.
• Security: As a nation based on Righteousness is God-made, God only takes care of its security. This means that God Himself guides the leaders about the appropriate measures to be undertaken.
• Environment: Nature is influenced heavily by man’s actions. As man becomes progressively sattvik through spiritual practice nature automatically becomes conducive to man. There will be a complete reduction in weird weather phenomenon that we are experiencing in current times.
• Family planning: Governments will not need to undertake family planning policies.  There will be an automatic adherence to family planning in society. The holy Vedic scriptures have also advocated a single child but not because of fear of scarcity of food etc., but to impress the importance of control on lust to grow spiritually.

8.1 The importance of this era of rekindling Spirituality in mankind

For mankind this will be the last era of rekindling Spirituality in mankind until the end of the current and last era of the Universe (Kaliyuga). Mankind will have to make do with the spiritual understanding that will be gained from these thousand years. After that man will again plunge into a negative vortex till the end of Kaliyuga.
We live in momentous times – amidst changing of an era. Our prayer is that the seekers of God in this world reflect on this information. We must bear in mind that with intense spiritual practice according to the six basic laws of spiritual practice we can reduce the intensity of Armageddon.

Similarly, we started looking at Hindu culture as an inferior culture. As a result, lot of harm has been caused to us. Sanatan Sanstha is educating all of us on this issue. It is performing a great mission to sow the seeds of importance of Hindu culture. In these words, Swami Shri 108 Avatar Maharaj Ji, Head of Om Deen Dayal Ashram expressed His appreciation towards the mission of Sanatan Sanstha.

On this occasion, Swamiji was felicitated by waving a lit lamp around Him. A grand exhibition is organised jointly by Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti in Kumbh Mela for the establishment of Hindu Rashtra. We write to you on behalf of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. The Hindu Janajagruti Samiti is a Non governmental organisation working for religious awakening of Hindus and bringing Hindus and other Organisations on common platform for the welfare of the Nation and the Hindu Dharma. Our details can be obtained at www.hindujagruti.org.
We came across your advertisement ‘Griha Pravesh’ ( 0.41 sec) on the you tube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O1XJZsOJFqE and the television advertisements reported to us by devout Hindus. This advertisement shows a couple performing a Vastu Shanti ritual (Homa) and the wife drops the steel spoon offering the oblations (ghee) in the homa (fire) due to heat. The couple’s son who is sitting nearby watching this gets up and tries to think of any idea to avoid the heat and he sees a box of Havells wire and gets any idea and makes a spoon like structure from Havells wire to offer the oblations in the fire and gives it to his mother who is shown using it comfortably. There is then this dialogue “Havells wire no fire”. This has made fun and mockery of one of the most important Hindu ritual ‘Vastu Shanti’
This advertisement has hurt religious sentiments of Hindus for the following reasons.

1. Use of Hindu ritual for commercial purpose rather than religious purpose. This is an offence as per Indian Trade Mark Act 1999.
2. The spoon for offering oblation (pali / sruva) is made of a particular material (wood) and has a definitive shape which cannot be replaced by any other form and material like wire.
3. This advertisement has distorted the Hindu ritual and given wrong information about Hindu dharma globally and to the younger generation which reduces the effectiveness of the ritual and is sinful.

It is quite surprising to see that an International Company like Havells which has a big market in India playing with the religious sentiments of Hindus. Continuation of such an act will definitely result in adding insult to injury of Hindus which in turn will boycott your products and thus affect your sales globally. Would you dare to use Muslim or Christian religion for commercial purpose?
We request you to immediately withdraw the advertisement ‘Griha Pravesh’ of Havells wire hurting religious sentiments of Hindus immediately and render an unconditional apology.

This is to bring to your notice that we have received many phone calls about the objectionable Havells wire advertisement

that your marketing team is broadcasting both on internet and TV.we also have watched the said advertisement and found it

highly objectionable.

The ad is depicting a Hindu family performing Griha Prawesh Pooja (House warming Ceremony),and during the same Yajna lady of the house has been deliberately shown using a cutlery spoon for aahuti to the Yajna in place of Sruvaa which is hurting her , followed by her son bringing the Havells wire for offering aahuti to Yajna (fire).

Importantly Sruvva is prescribed by our vedic texts to be used during offerings and you are trying to change the very concept mentioned in our scriptures.

Though we appreciate feeling of small son towards his mother, we out rightly reject the depiction of using wire for offerings in the yajna, this is an insult to our vedic culture and Hindu way of worship. We are highly offended by this representation in commercials.
For the commercial interest your organization cannot hurt Hindus who hold the Yajnas pious and utmost religious , by using Yajna and then portrayal of same in bad light is not acceptable to Hindus of the country. We request you to kindly take serious note of this and with immediate effect withdraw this advertisement for all the mediums of publicity.
